Florian Koch has successfully defended his dissertation entitled “Navigating Paradoxes and Multiple Institutional Logics in Creative Startups” at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Florian began his doctorate on July 1, 2020 as an external doctoral student and research assistant at the Institute for Entrepreneurial Action at Mainz University of Applied Sciences.

The examination committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Dirk Schiereck. The dissertation was supervised by Prof. Dr. Alexander Kock and Prof. Elmar D. Konrad, while Prof. Dr. Carolin Bock completed the examination committee. Together, they represented the diverse research fields of Florian's work, including innovation, entrepreneurship, start-ups and the cultural and creative industries.
