Three days full of research and exchange: at Kiel University's doctoral seminar at the Dr Otto Bagge-Kolleg.

From 3rd to 5th September, we took part in the doctoral seminar at the Dr Otto Bagge-Kolleg on the Baltic Sea. The host was the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel with Professor Carsten Schultz, supported by Professor Sören Salomo (Technische Universität Berlin).
Our doctoral students Benjamin Hettrich and Léonie Lange presented the results of their current research projects and received valuable feedback from professors and doctoral students. The discussions provided new impulses and perspectives for their further scientific work.
In addition to the research presentations, the focus was on the question of how teaching can be organised more innovatively. Various approaches and ideas were discussed in intensive talks – from interactive learning formats to more practice-orientated teaching methods.
The Dr Otto Bagge-Kolleg directly on the Baltic Sea provided the ideal environment for scientific exchange, concentrated work and informal discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.
We would like to thank Kiel University for the invitation and excellent organisation of this seminar.
