Success Mechanisms in University-Industry Collaboration Projects

Research Overview:

Dynamic market surroundings give companies clear incentives to open themselves to external partners in order to act innovative. Since universities are highly specialized in research activities they are a predestined partner for joint research activities with companies.

This dissertation project focuses on success mechanisms of collaboration between companies and universities (UIC) and evaluates performance of collaborative UIC projects.

UIC research projects are analyzed using a mixed methods approach with qualitative and quantitative data in the relationships between companies and universities.
