New Publication in the International Journal of Project Management

The article “How organisational and team climates foster design thinking for project success” by Maria Loderer and Alexander Kock has been published in the International Journal of Project Management.

Based on data from 379 projects across 93 companies, the study shows: supportive and open climates, shared leadership, and team autonomy significantly enhance the use of design thinking—leading to higher project success, especially in highly innovative environments.

The findings offer valuable insights for managing complex, uncertain projects and highlight the importance of cultural conditions in enabling design thinking.
