A guest in Bremen.

The 7th TIME Research Colloquium took place at the University of Bremen from 10-12 September. For three days, we exchanged ideas on topics such as innovation, agility, AI and business model innovation – in an open format with exciting discussions and valuable feedback.

From 10-12 September, the 7th TIME Research Colloquium took place at the University of Bremen (Prof. Tobias Röth). For three days, doctoral students, postdocs and professors from various universities met to discuss current research work in the fields of innovation and portfolio management, artificial intelligence, agility, business model innovation, sustainable innovation and user entrepreneurship.

As in previous years, the colloquium provided an excellent platform for scientific exchange, constructive feedback and new impetus for conference submissions and publications.

Our team was represented with two contributions:

  • Christian Resch presented his research idea “User Entrepreneurs' Short- and Long-Term Trade-Offs of Idea Quality and Success”.
  • Doreen Gehl presented her work “How Purpose Shapes Innovation Portfolios: Thriving in Times of Dynamic Change”.

Special thanks go to the teams of our colleagues Patrick Spieth (University of Kassel), Sven Heidenreich (Saarland University), Monika Schuhmacher (JLU Giessen), Thomas Clauß (University of Witten/Herdecke) and Sascha Klein (University of Vechta), who enriched the lively atmosphere with their contributions.

In addition to the intensive discussions, Bremen also offered cultural highlights: From the Bremen Town Musicians to the UNESCO World Heritage Town Hall and Roland to a craft beer tour in the UNIONS brewery, we got to know the city from its most beautiful sides.

We are already looking forward to the 8th TIME Research Colloquium at Saarland University and to many more exciting discussions!
